I called about having my truck serviced and was told that there was a recall. They asked if I wanted the recall taken care of while I was there and I said yes. When I got there, I was advised that the part for the recall wasn't available. I have had a problem since I bought the truck in September 2022 with the trailer connector. They still haven't been able to repair this problem.

No pressure to buy. I felt comfortable dealing with Master's Buick. I wish I had gotten a better trade-in for my 2014 Lacross which had only 60,000 miles on it. I was told that they would put my car on the lot for around $11,000, but I have an idea it will be more like$13,000 to $15,000.

I received prompt courteous service. Took my Sierra Denali with 3.0 diesel engine in with a CEL for the coolant control valve. The service manager advised me on the warranty available. The part he thought was going to be back ordered and he set me up with a rental Suburban. As luck would have it the part actually came in the very next day and the truck was ready to go by lunch. Couldn't be more pleased.

I was called to pick up car, when I arrived they could not find my paperwork and knew nothing about the vehicle. Finally Charles (the only one to help) looked on computer, found paperwork and indeed my car was ready but proper procedure not followed to get it out. Paperwork found and I was checked out. Then the girl gave my key to someone else for their car. Took a while to retrieve. After a wait of over 45 minutes I was able to leave. I understand things don't always go as planned but it seemed the new girl didn't seem to care. I had to specifically ask her to find someone to help since Gavin was at lunch and she could not reach him. That's when she asked Charles to help. I stood for 45 minutes, was never offered a chair or hardly spoken to during this time. I am usually in and out in 5 minutes. More disappointed in the smiling faces that walked in and out but did nothing than the long wait. Charles should be recognized for going above and beyond.

Master Buick did the best they can with a problem that appears to be reoccurring with many vehicles that have the features that mine have which includes Lane assist and adaptive cruise control. These two features fail on a regular basis and you have to remove the f11 fuse in order to get them to start working properly again. GMC needs to find out what the problem with this is and resolve this and provide a service solution for their dealerships for this problem. There were numerous websites for owners of the GMC and Chevrolet pickups complain about this issue and yet GM is not doing anything about it to resolve it. Surely they know about it and if they can't fix it they need to discontinue this feature. If I'd known that there was a problem with these two accessories I would have never purchased the truck with it.

This is our first time ever purchasing a GMC vehicle, but it will most definitely not be the last. During our quest to purchase this vehicle we visited 4 dealerships. The first dealership KEPT trying to sell me, the wife one an electric vehicle. Until I am absolutely forced to buy an electric vehicle there will NEVER be an electric vehicle parked at my home. The last dealership the sales person was extremely rude. Needles to say his business card didn't make it inside my house. So we narrowed it down to the two in the middle. The GMC Terrain and a Chevrolet. My husband and I are both Ford people, so what does that tell you? We only test drove the Terrain and we were hooked! The sales people at the dealership were very friendly, not pushy at all, they took us on a tour of the dealership so we would know exactly where everything is for our return visits, explained every aspect of the vehicle during the test drive with my son and I and again when my husband came back the following week to purchase the vehicle. And they had the cleanest restroom I have ever seen to include some hospitals. Thank you for being so nice to my family and I. Some places are only nice to the man with the check! Malissa Tucker

Although the Service Dept had several customers inside, I was welcomed quickly and told that someone would be with me soon. It only took a couple of minutes for someone to check with me to find out what I needed (scheduled oil change and tire rotation). My truck was ready before the scheduled time. The service representative called me to let me know it was ready. No waiting when I came back to get my truck. Everything was done as expected. Great job.

The service went fine but when I took the vehicle in the On-Star worked fine. When I picked it up it didn't work at all. I drove right back into the service department, and they said it wasn't their fault, and it would cost me $600 to repair it. Then they charged me $150 to tell me that On-Star didn't work.

Took my vehicle because of the steering wheel had very little play in it and need it fixed And now I can barely keep it on the road because my steering is extremely worst after picking it up for Master Buick.. I paid the company my money and the steering still not fixed... then my Side Detected stopped working and Charles said because it was recked and yall don't work on that to take it somewhere else like body shop because it had over spray on it... I'm very very disappointed and this is my review not satisfied with nothing because I paid my money and my vehicle still broke and it's worst now after picking it up... This is the worst experience ever that I've ever been in after having my vehicle over a month and your employer Charles in the automotive department said they did diagnosis on my vehicle and found the problem ordered the part and put it on just to call to tell me it was still doing the same thing when I took it there and still charged me 425.00 and the Extended Warranty 250.00 and my vehicle driver worst now sinse I picked it up that's not right... Very Upset And Angry with the outcome...

This is the first time I have not given service a 5 star review. I had a 9:00 am appointment for a 37,500 mile service of oil, filter change and tire rotation. I arrived on time and told the service person to call me when the service was complete. When I heard nothing regarding my service for several hours, I called the dealership. No one could tell me anything because my service rep was out or had a customer in front of him. Finally picked the car up at 2:00 pm. It seems to me that 5 hours is way too long for this service. I did not realize that if I left my car instead of waiting for it, I would go to the end of the line regardless of my appointment.

All were helpful and accommodating even though it took 3 hours from the time we got there until we got home. When making the appointment on the 6th I was told by the scheduler to bring it in at 2:15pm and we would be driven home and picked up at completion the next day. That was great for me because my husband has Alzheimer’s and has to go with me on all appointments. When we got there at 2:15, Mr Williams wanted me to get the service done at that time because he was going to be off for a few days. I asked if someone could take us home and pick up us when completed. He said no and it shouldn’t take too long. He was told about my husband’s condition. It took so long because he said I also needed a new battery and on our way home I discovered the A/C was not cooling and the clocks and the inside temperature showing on the dash was incorrect. I was almost home and had to turn around to return to the dealership. We had to wait another 30 or so minutes before finally getting to leave for home. Needless to say the experience was unsettling for me and especially my husband.

The woman who checked me in, and who I paid my bill to was great! The gentleman whom I had a consultation with was not so great. Usually that person comes over to you, identifies himself, and leads you to his deck. Not this guy. He yelled over to me as he sat at his desk, I told him I was already checked in but then realized HE was my contact for my service request. A bit awkward. I was there for a 30,000mi service. My Buick app told me what it entailed and I had a pretty good idea around what the cost would be. He proceeded to quote me a $700.00 price for the service, obviously the deluxe service I guess. I told him I wanted what the regular service was. At that point I wanted to leave as I felt he was trying to take advantage of me, but I didn’t and was happy with what was done. I was at your dealership once before, for a recall service and I was treated very well which is why I returned for this service. This guy really turned me off to your dealership.

Sue did such amazing job. She is the reason why I decided to get my new truck in the first place. The overall Master GMC team is top notch. My experience with the staff was top notch. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. One correction, my service was done on 5.21.2025, not 5.27.2025. Next took my truck in for a "Check Engine" warning light. While the check engine code was satisfactorily resolved, I brought it home with new issue. The AC was not working. It would blow cold air sitting still, but once out on the road would quickly turn to blowing hot air. I have another appointment scheduled for 6.2.2025 to have this new issue looked at.

My vehicle was brought in by a tow truck due to an issue with the battery. While it was there I received an alert that my tire pressure was low. I assumed that the issue with my tire would be addressed since the alert would have shown on my dashboard when started. The day after I picked my vehicle up my tire pressure alert came on indicating that air was needed in the same tire. When I arrived at the tire shop a nail was easily spotted. Even if the plugging of the tire could not have been completed by Master’s service department, I would have appreciated being made aware that it still needed attention.

I have to admit I hate surveys and usually ignore them but I really cant say enough good stuff about the entire dealership so far. Parts quoted my a price for a genuine GMC accessory install and when I arrived the price had doubled. I was in and out in under an hour and charged an obscene amount for a simple emblem install. I own both the 2025 Terrain and a 2025 Sierra and will not have any service completed at Master Buick GMC.

When my 2500HD broke down, I was informed of a national back order. Mr. Charles was honest and kept me informed of everything for the month my vehicle was in the shop. Im a long time Jim Hudson customer however, decided to stay local even after driving to Columbia and give Master try since I was in the market for a particular GMC. The sales process was a perfect experience. I walked out of there thinking Wow.. Master might have just won my business for life. My salesman Gregg was top notch. I purchased the service package expecting the same service however, it was the exact opposite. I was scheduled pretty far out which is understandable, but then contacted for a last-minute cancellation to come in sooner in which I was happy to take. It happened to be a Saturday and I’m hoping that had something to do with the complete dismissal of my concerns, questions, and overall horrible customer service. My advisor was rushed and rude. I was so upset I called to see if I can have my truck serviced with Jim Hudson Cadillac in the future regardless of the additional cost. I’m willing to give Master another chance but definitely won’t be using the same service advisor (I wish I could give you his name but everything happened so fast I don’t even know who he is) and not schedule on a Saturday!

My visit was for my final complimentary service, which included oil change and tire rotation. During the wait in the customer lounge you provided complimentary coffee and water which is good. But for the time that you spend waiting it would have been nice to have a snack such as a donut or something. If the dealership doesn’t want to offer something for free then you should at least have a vending machine with snacks. I’m diabetic so watching my sugar is important. Now for the service that I received. After getting my service I entered my truck and started it to find a collision alert light on and my tire pressures were incorrect. I would have expected that the technician would have noticed that the alert light was on and that whenever they rotated the tires they would have checked the pressure. Also a complimentary wash would be a great touch for a customer experience. I also own a Toyota that whenever I bring it in for any type of service they wash the car.

The service department needs a major overhaul. Charles is extremely unprofessional and doesn’t pay attention or explain things to the customer. He told us when we brought the vehicle in to tell the tech it needed a PDI because it hadn’t been done. We did that, and then we were told it was done before we picked up the vehicle. That’s fine, but why were stickers still in the steaming wheel and on the dash? Why would we be told to mention it? The cashier also made a $100 mistake, which was caught after she already charged the card and the customer started questioning the charges. Charles also gave us false information, when telling us the pointless dent removal team was not there on site last Thursday due to the rain. We spoke with two other non-service team members and they both told us the they were there working under the tent all day. This is resulting in us having to bring our vehicle back again for repairs. Completely unsatisfactory experience with this team. They did change the oil and filters, which is why I gave them two stars.

I made an appointment on the 25th of July to test drive a 2025 Hummer EV Truck. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership, we greeted by Russell Benoit, one of the Sales Consultants. Russell was very kind and professional. The Truck that we were interested in, was not on the lot at the time so, Russell allowed us to take a test drive with a similar vehicle. Once we started the test drive, we instantly fell in love with the Truck. The comfort, the technology, and the beautiful design was one of the major selling points. During the test drive, Russell explained to us on the modern features and how to operate the vehicle. After the test drive, he gave us a tour of the dealership to show us where the maintenance center was as well as the charging station that was on campus. Once we got back to his office, he discussed different types of options for purchasing the Truck. We informed Russell that we had an older model vehicle that we would like to trade-in towards the purchase of the new vehicle, but we did not bring the vehicle with us that afternoon. Russell worked with us to setup a time for the appraisal process. Before leaving the dealership on the 25th, Russell had us fill out some of the required paperwork to help speed up the process when we returned with our trade-in. We returned to the dealership on the 28th of July with our trade-in, unfortunately our vehicle was too old and had too many miles on it to get the price that we were asking for. Russell worked with us to see what other types of incentives that we were qualified for. Since we had already filled out a lot of the paperwork for the application process, we were able to jump right into the financing part of the purchase. After we were approved for the loan, Logan from the finance team, helped us pick out the best warranty and additional options that fit our lifestyle. After all was said and done, Russell took us to the 2025 Hummer EV Truck that we purchased, he assisted us with customizing all of our settings along with setting up our OnStar account by calling OnStar. When everything was setup for each user, Russell took us on one more test drive to explain how to use the Super Cruise feature. We are very pleased with the entire process as well as the professionalism from the whole team at Master Buick GMC. Thank you for everything.

Truck repair with went great. Telling me about changing injectors with only 57k miles might fix the problem did not go over well. Then they stop car rental cause I was responsible for 6800$ for injectors. Warranty should have covered that also as I found in my paper work. GM representative is working with me on this issue. The friendliness of the staff was excellent, but two and a half hours for a pre-scheduled, complimentary oil change first thing in the morning is excessive. I expect that once the new oil change facility is complete, this will improve. Also, I was told at purchase that the DEF would be topped off during these services. In fact, only a "small bottle" of DEF is included. Not a huge deal since DEF isn't terribly expensive, but there is apparently a miscommunication between Sales and Service, so there is a customer expectation management issue.

Im not the person to leave reviews but this time I will. Thank you for reminding me with multiple emails. Ive purchased my last 2 trucks from you and think very highly of your sales staff but your service staff needs some retraining. Ive experienced bottom of the barrel customer service from you guys before but decided to give you another chance and get an oil change and have a couple of lights on my dash reset. When arriving for an oil change no one greeted me when I walked in, I stood against the glass waiting for someone to instruct me on what to do. No one wants to be rude and say "hello im here for a service" because that's kind of obvious. After 2-3 minutes of just standing there looking at people someone walking in from the back, a technician, asked me if I needed some help when I replied "just dropping off" the lady at the front perked up and said "oh you are dropping off? I can handle that for you. Can you drive around?" As if I should have known to drive through your machine and park awkwardly in the bay. I would have drove right up if that was instructed before the visit. The gentlemen in the office where all "on the phone" and kind of hid behind there computers. No one smiling, no one happy to be there. No one greeting anyone who walks in. I know it's hard to find good people, I get that part but you have got to do better with employee moral. I had a missed call at 2:00pm with no message left. I couldn't call back until about 3pm and the gentleman said they called to confirm I didn't want to fix my tire censors and that my truck is ready for pick up and a service team member is going to call me back with a total, cool. No call back. With all that being said I will not be back for service and will try very hard not to purchase any trucks from your sales department. Thank you and have a blessed day. The battery went bad only after 2 years. The battery was warranted and we only had to pay for the installation. We also had the oil changed and tires rotated while at the dealership. My daughter used the courtesy shuttle both after dropping our car off and then picked her up the next day when the service was completed. Very satisfied.

After picking my vehicle up from the service department. They said they found nothing wrong with the vehicle. i went to measure my voltage on the battery. It was 11.84 volts. I then started the vehicle and it read 14.60 volts. Now I just got back from Charlotte the two days before. I just verified that the alternator was working with the volt at 14.60 volts. I put the battery on my charger which read that my battery was at 55%. So I charged it up to 100% yesterday. Shouldn't you all have at least charged it? This morning, I measured the battery voltage, and it is at 12.08 volts. Although, there was no problem found, I still get the code P0562 System Voltage Low. Driving it from Charlotte and then to service department, that battery should have been reading in the 12.5 volt range.

I scheduled an appointment for my 2024 gmc terrain that I purchased from this dealership to get looked at due to a strange noise on start up that was not there initially. After they took a look, I was completely dismissed about my concerns in regard to my vehicle and the strange noise it had started making. I specifically spoke with Colby who stated that it wasn’t “firing any codes.” He also stated that a mechanic who is “very” familiar with these specific models stated that he believes it is normal and has heard this before. About 2 weeks later to no surprise my check engine light came on considering the problem was never addressed or fixed on my car. I took my vehicle to the nearest advance auto parts who pulled the code for me. It is comical that a female with no mechanic experience figured out the issue rather than a professional at a dealership. She printed out the code and the information along with it that could be the issue. I took my car back to the dealership with the code and information in hand. I spoke to the assistant manager, Gavin, and once again my concerns were completely dismissed. I even asked if they would like to see the code that was ran by the advance auto parts employee. He didn’t even answer. Maybe I was completely dismissed because I am a woman and that has a tendency to happen in regard to issues with vehicles. They seemed to assume that I had no idea what I was talking about. However, turns out there was a vacuum leak in my intake manifold due to something as simple as loose screws. I feel like they didn’t even thoroughly assess my car the first time and they almost didn’t want to the second time as well. It took me calling and complaining the next morning after I dropped it off to ensure it was getting looked at. Absolutely ridiculous honestly. This service was the poorest service I have ever received at any car dealership in my life. For an assistant manager to dismiss someone as well, that is just embarrassing for this company. Do better! I will be taking my service elsewhere and will NEVER purchase a vehicle from here again!

My wife asked the service advisor if he could go over the maintenance package that we had and his question to her was, did you purchase the vehicle from us? What does that have to do with explaining the service package? If purchasing the vehicle elsewhere prohibited him from explaining the package, then he should have say so. Not you probable have a basic one. How would he know, he didn't even check. When I bought the vehicle from Aiken, I was told I could have it serviced anywhere. He didn't have the decency to explain anything to her. To add to it, he called me to inform me that my vehicle was ready, and I told him that my wife was in the waiting room and he said okay. You all must have came in when I was on my break. He went on to say that I will let her know. When I didn't receive a call from my wife to tell me the vehicle was done, I called her and asked what was she doing? She informed me that she was still waiting for the vehicle to be completed. That's when I told her he called me and told me that the vehicle was done and he was going to the waiting room to let you know. However he did not. When my wife made her way to the desk, someone greeted her and said we got you all ready.. I know paperwork does not take that long, so it wasn't that. Had she not went to see the young lady at the desk, who knows when they would have told her. Maybe I should have went to Aiken for service.. Truly expected better service from Master, Buick GMC.

7500 mile service went well however, I asked them to look at the alignment of the steering column and wheel because it is visibly off/rotated by about 1/2 inch to the left. The tech said it looks normal but there was no follow up by the service technician to confirm what I asked them to look at. It is clearly off so I do not believe they drove the truck to verify, only visually inspected it. If the would have driven it, they would have noticed that the truck will steer right if you visually center the wheel while driving.

Communication was not stellar, I had to call in more than I would have liked to get Status updates and to find out the loaner was ready. Also I just picked up my truck this morning, and there was a check engine light on that was not there when I brought it in, as well as a button panel on the headliner that was crooked, and it appears it was broken by the tech and they attempted to glue it together. Also one of the warranty issues I brought it in for does not appear to have been permanently fixed. Its disappointing I will need to bring it back to the dealer again for these issues

My Experience on December 4, 2025! I turned in my 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck to Master Buick GMC due to a recall from GM for the airbag on the passenger’s side. It was the worst experience I have ever had and with the Service Advisor (Rep), Gavin Hyatt. I felt I’ve been cheated, fooled and taken advantage of. After about 45 minutes in the waiting room Gavin approached me and stated he wanted to show me something. As we walking toward my truck in the one of the bays, he started to talk about how ArmorAll is bad to use on dashboards. I told him that I don’t use Armor All on my dashboard. I use vinyl leather and plastic protection products and I take good care of my truck! When we got to the truck he stated that the dashboard had some cracks on several areas. He also stated that the mechanic started to pull some parts (bracket and screws) but could not pull out or remove the glove compartment in order to get to the airbag and the inflator and if the mechanic was to pull anymore it will break the dashboard more and may cause more cracks. He also said that the small crack close to the glove compartment cracked while the mechanic tried pulling it out. I told Gavin that I did not bring in the truck with cracks on the dashboard and that if there were any cracks I would have requested for it to be replaced along with replacing the airbag. My truck is in excellent condition with low mileage. He then started to say that the dashboard had cracks when he received it and that it is notorious for trucks and it is common for that year 2010 for both Chevrolet and GMC trucks. He also said that they have had numerous trucks that they have worked on that were brought in with cracks on the dashboards. I responded to Gavin asking, then why didn’t he advise me before the mechanic started to do work on removing the dashboard in order to replace the airbag? He did not answer my question. He just continued to say that there were cracks already on my dashboard and he is not going to pay and replace the dashboard. I told him again that if there were cracks on my dashboard I would have requested it to be replaced along with the airbag and having the mechanic to check on the tire pressure monitor light. He then said that he can get an estimate on what it will cost to replace the entire dashboard. I wasn’t satisfied and told him that I should not be responsible for the cracks on my dashboard because I did not bring it in with any cracks on the dashboard and that the airbag must be replaced as per GM instructions. So, I left my truck overnight and Gavin called me to let me know that the estimate for replacing the dashboard is about $ 3000.00 and he can drop the price down to about $2500.00 and that his mechanic can start replacing the dashboard and then he started to address me as buddy and each time I would say something to him he will response back “ok buddy” as we ended our conversation. I then asked him to call me once the truck is ready for pick up and he will response back “ok buddy”. I wandered to myself why all of a sudden he stop being professional by addressing my as sir or Mr. Bucao or call me by my first name Orlando. It sounded so unprofessional each time he response back to be as “buddy”. Upon completion of replacing the airbag and dashboard Gavin called me up to inform me and I requested for someone to pick me up and he stated he’ll be on his way shortly, again he responded “ok buddy”. I then told him to stop calling me buddy. Upon arrival to pick up my truck Gavin Hyatt was not there to brief or advise me on what was all done since there was one other thing I request to get checked on by the mechanic which was the service tire pressure monitor light. So I told the Cashier that I request to speak to Gavin’s Supervisor/Director Philip Towns. I explained to Philip about the situation and told him the same thing that I did not bring my truck in with any cracks on the dashboard. I also said that if there were any cracks I would have requested to have the dashboard replaced along with the airbag and checking out the tire pressure monitor light. After discussing the situation with Philip he stated that what he could do to drop the cost down from about $2900.00 to about $1939.12. So in order for me to get my truck back and start driving I had to pay that amount. I felt that I should not be liable for the cost to replace the dashboard. I was very upset with the situation along with the stress I had to go through taking care of other personal problems, with my medical appointments and wife who called me and told me she is feeling sick and had to go see her Doctor, I had to calm down before writing what my experience turning in my truck to Master Buick GMC and dealing with Gavin Hyatt. I strongly felt that Gavin Hyatt is not trustworthy Service Advisor (Rep) and I don’t want turn in any of my vehicles to him. I purchased two vehicles from Master Buick GMC, a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 in 2019 and a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 in 2020 in which I paid cash. I will continue to bring all my vehicles in to Master Buick GMC for service and repairs as needed because I have confidence in the past have service and repairs done. However, I will request for a different Service Advisor (Rep). From the bottom of my heart, I hope that Gavin Hyatt did not get any commission for replacement of the dashboard on my truck. I do believe that I should not be liable for the cost of having the dashboard replacement. I am happy though that the airbag and inflator on the passenger side was taken care of. Orlando Q. Bucao

I feel more than a customer at the dealership. I feel more like family, my interactions with Wade Howard, my salesman, Eddie Overby, the new car sales manager, are always cordial and we learn something new about each other every time we have a conversation. Other folks, Frank Ward and Gavin Hyatt, to name a few, always have a smile a firm handshake and a warm welcome that is genuine. I have been a loyal GM customer for 51 years. Recently I purchased a BMW X5. The difference between service at the BMW vs the GMC dealership is striking. My GMC service advisor is first class but everything else about the Service experience is lower quality than BMW. The check in process, the customer waiting room and the check out are subpar. For example, my car was returned dirtier than it was at check in. At BMW the car is washed before it is returned. The tires on my Yukon needed air but apparently this was not checked or corrected. These type of checks are routinely done at BMW.

You all are prompt and courteous. There have been a few times where the floor carpet was dirtied by a technician and the seat was not readjusted to its original position. I waited 3 hours for oil change and tire rotation. Not counting the time i sat in line to be seen for my 10:30 appointment. I was told to have a seat and it would take one hour and half. I when to the check out after two hours and 45 minutes to ask about it. I was told it was finished and they have to do the paperwork. They said about 10 minutes and would call get me. Well 10 minutes became 30min. I haven’t maid my mind up I about returning! Not the most friendly check in/checkout station. Joanne Courtney
